Marlowe and dad just returned from a few days in East Hampton with the McEvoy family (Caroline and Gus could not make the trip due to a temporary canine crisis at home). After some initial reluctance, Marlowe had a blast and vowed never to leave.

In East Hampton, Marlowe spent a ton of time by the pool...

did some weight training...

worked on his swing...

enjoyed the immaculate beach...

and visited the historic Montauk Lighthouse.

Milestone Birthday for Gee Gee

Today we celebrated Gee Gee's 70th Birthday. The kids had almost as much fun as she did. Happy Birthday, Gee Gee!

Marlowe Off to a Baseball Game and Gus Enjoying the Playground

Marlowe went to his first baseball game without either of his parents today.

Meanwhile, Gus continued to flourish after his operation on the 16th.

By the 21st (5 days after his operation), Gus was doing great!

Surgery

Gus had surgery on the 16th. He did great and was ready to go home very soon afterward.
