Soccer and a Birthday Party

Today Marlowe began his soccer season, and we attended a first birthday party for Winston, son of our friends Curtis and Nicole.

"I support Spuuuurs," he said in his best North London accent.

Being a 5-year-old at a first birthday party can be tough. Fortunately, the weather was great, and Curtis and Nicole's yard contained plenty of big-kid diversions.

Cape Cod

We recently spend a couple of nights at our friend Lisa's in-laws' house on Cape Cod. They boys had a great time, as did mom and dad.

Marlowe's Half-Birthday

We celebrated the 4th of July, aka Marlowe's half-birthday, in DC. Dad and Marlowe attended the Nationals' game that morning.
